The Paris Hotel and Casino in Vegas

Paris Hotel
When I went to Las Vegas, I was very surprised at how much the casinos resembled amusement parks to me. Walking through and down the strip was like walking through Disneyland.

Take, for example, the Paris Hotel and Casino. It was a sight to see from the outside, complete with it's own mini Eiffel Tower and all. But going inside was a real trip. I didn't know exactly what to expect, but I found a whole little French world inside this casino.

The halls were adorned with little cafes, complete with patio tables to look like the sidewalk cafes one frequently sees in France. The food imitated that of Paris, but let's face it: it wasn't nearly as good.

My Experience With Dog Friendly Hotels

dog friendly hotels
There are a lot of dog friendly hotels out there, but you have to know where to look. It is sometimes frustrating to travel when you can't bring your pet. I love going to places like Telluride, where there is so much natural wilderness for my dog to enjoy, and the town is so friendly. I see a lot of people walking the streets of Telluride with no leash on their dog.

Because I love to travel with my dog, I always try to find a place where I can stay that will allow him to stay with me. This is sometimes a challenge.

I have found that sometimes the locals know best which hotels allow dogs in their rooms. If you call a hotel or stop by the front desk of one that doesn't allow dogs, be sure to ask the concierge there if he or she knows which hotels do allow pets.

This method worked well for me in Sedona. The hotel I chose was mostly made up of small cabins, and dogs were allowed; however, the last room was rented out before I arrived. The woman at the front desk gave me a list of hotels nearby that allowed dogs, (none of which I had seen advertised on the internet), as well as directions for getting to these hotels.

How to Book a Hotel

Book A Hotel
The most popular way nowadays to book a hotel is to do it online. There are websites that offer descriptions of rooms, competitive rates, and at a glance you can compare many different hotels in a single area.

I have found through my travels that often the best way to book a hotel is not online through one of the big hotel websites like Expedia or Hotels.com, but rather by calling the hotel or going to the hotel's website myself.

You can use one of the big websites to get an idea of which hotel you might want. Afterwards, you can call the hotel yourself and get more detailed information about the hotel rooms, the location, the restaurant, etc. You can save money by not paying a third party booking fee and you can also get a better idea of exactly where you are staying.

Is Bad Meat Served In London Hotels?

London Hotels
Information has recently surfaced about a huge food distribution company called McLaren Foods, which has provided many London hotels, schools, and businesses with meat. A previous employee of the company has come forward to report that sometimes meat that unsanitary was delivered to the establishments.

Supposedly a lot of foul meat was transported in certain vans which were not sanitized before they made shipments of other meats to the hotels.

This is concerning information, both for the hotels and for the customers who stay at them. A person should be able to stay at a nice hotel and expect that the meat they pay top dollar for is indeed top quality.

It is distressing to know that some hotels and businesses want to make a profit by purchasing cheap meat that is low quality and than selling it at high prices.

Best Location for San Francisco Hotels

San Francisco hotels
San Francisco is one of the coolest cities in the world. With so much diversity, so many attractions, and just so many activities to offer, anyone can find something they would enjoy in San Francisco.

The best location for San Francisco hotels for newcomers to the city is down by Fisherman's Wharf. If you get a hotel close enough to Pier 39, you won't have to walk too far to get to San Francisco's hotspot for shopping, restaurants, art galleries, free street shows, and fresh cracked crab cooked and sold right on the side of the street.

Fisherman's Wharf, right at Pier 39, is also where you can see wild sea lions sunbathing on the rocks. Here you can take bay cruises or take a boat to tour Alcatraz.

Picking a hotel further away might be cheaper, but you would end up spending the money anyway on taxis to your destination, or the parking down by the Wharf, which can be pretty expensive and quite a hassle.

One of the Chicago Hotels Lets You Live in Luxury

Chicago Hotels
If you feel the need to live the glamorous life while visiting Chicago, there are a few Chicago hotels that will be able to live up to your expectations.

The Hotel Sax is one luxury hotel that offers rock star accommodations for travelers willing to pay the big bucks. The hotel has come up with "Celebrity Rider Inspired Packages", which were created after famous guests like Frank Sinatra and Jennifer Lopez stayed at the hotel and made special requests.

The packages offer unique and fabulous opportunities, like in-room sushi, a personal sports car, personal bartenders, etc. These packages don't come cheap, though. To travel like a rock star, you have to spend money like a rock star, which means two nights could cost you between three and ten thousand dollars.
